EW Beard Limited

John Youle MCIOB, Commercial Director

“Stonehouse Consultants Services were employed on a £3m project at Langley Grammar School. Stonehouse provided Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management services on this project from our commencement until completion and the final account. This included sub-contract procurement, valuations and payment; main contract valuations and negotiations over variations and additional work; and internal cost/value management processes.

The project tender expectation was a 5% return but Stonehouse through detailed and precise commercial management returned 20%.

Subsequently, Stonehouse carried out the second stage tender negotiations on a £6m private residence in Berkshire, up to and including agreement of the contract sum and terms; post-contract services have been provided as above, the project is due to end April 2010.

Stonehouse have always worked and represented Beard in a very professional manner to a high standard and I will have no hesitation in engaging Stonehouse in the future or recommending them to others.”

Galliven Homes

Julian Galliven, Director

“Stonehouse Consultants have always provided a competitive and highly professional service that we have come to rely upon. Preparing cost plans from our architect’s initial concept design through to accurate, detailed and fully costed working budgets once our schemes have been fully designed allows us to progress construction secure in the knowledge that our developments are financially viable. During the construction phase of many of our developments and contracts, Stonehouse have provided project and commercial management services helping to deliver projects on time and within budget. I would highly recommend the services of Stonehouse Consultants to others.”
